The main objective of CIIE’s Scientific Committee is to attract interest and quality contributions to the event through the following activities:
- Application Process. In conjunction with CIIE’s Organizing Committee, the Scientific Committee developed the application process for receiving papers for the Congress.
- Group of Evaluators. With the support of the Education Research and Innovation Group, the Scientific Committee organized the application and selection process to find experts in the areas of innovation and education with a postgraduate degree in order for them to voluntarily evaluate the papers received.
- The result was a group of 312 experts from 14 countries and 157 institutions who were chosen to be Evaluators.
- Each paper submitted received 2 evaluations in order to determine whether it would be accepted or not. In the event of any discrepancies, a third evaluator was involved in order to reach a final decision. The results were:
- 503 papers submitted
- 331 papers accepted
A section for posters was also opened, with 89 quality submissions being accepted. These will be presented to the academic world.
