Types of Contributions
Research Papers
These are partial or final, unpublished, and original research results related to the disciplinary area of educational innovation. These contributions are subjected to the academic evaluation process of single-blind peer review. Research Papers contributions should include:
- Paper title in English and Spanish
- Author’s full name, institution, country, and email (include the previous information for each of the authors, up to a maximum of 5)
- Abstract: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, 1.5 line spacing, and written in English and Spanish
- Keywords: It is necessary to include the keyword “educational innovation” and three additional ones in Spanish and English
- Introduction: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font letter, and 1.5 line spacing
- Development: 2,000 words max, including theoretical framework, problem approach, method, results, and discussion
- Conclusions: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 Line spacing
- APA style references: French sangria, only the cited references, and alphabetically
- Acknowledgments: Optional section to thank contributors or sponsors, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- The results of the research submitted must have been obtained or carried out between January 2022 and June 2023
Innovation Papers
These are presentations of reports about educational innovation experiences in which the innovative situation, participants, and results are described. No research results are required in these papers. Innovation Papers contributions must include:
- Innovation project paper title written in English and Spanish
- Author’s full name, institution, country, and email (include the previous information for each of the authors, up to a maximum of 5)
- Abstract: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, 1.5 line spacing, and written in English and Spanish
- Keywords: 4 keywords max written in English and Spanish
- Introduction: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font letter, and 1.5 line spacing
- Development: 2,000 words max, including theoretical framework, description of the innovation, implementation process, and evaluation of results
- Conclusions: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- APA style references: French sangria, only the cited references, and alphabetically
- Acknowledgments: Optional section to thank contributors or sponsors, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- The results of the innovation submitted must have been obtained or carried out between January 2022 and June 2023
Book Presentations
Presentations of books associated with the themes from the Conference. The presentation must highlight the contribution of the work to the field of educational innovation, as well as a critical perspective of it. Proposals for the book presentations must include:
- Book title written in English and Spanish
- Full name of the author(s), institution, country, and email address
- Full name of the commentator (or commentators, from 2 to 4) institution, country, and email address
- Abstract: 250 words max, 10pts Arial font, 1.5 line spacing, and written in English and Spanish
- Keywords: 4 words max in English and Spanish
- Book contributions: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- Subjects addressed: 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- Full details of the book in APA format
- Includes book cover
- The books submitted must have been published as of January 1, 2021
Educational Innovation Experience
Panel Modality
It analyzes an educational theme from the perspectives of different panelists that will contribute to the understanding of a phenomenon in educational innovation. Panel proposals must include:
- Panel name in English and Spanish
- Coordinator name
- Panelists: up to four, and list the full name of each panelist, excluding the coordinator
- Abstract: 250 words max, 10pts Arial font, 1.5 line spacing, and written in English and Spanish
- Keywords: 4 words max written in English and Spanish.
- Objectives: From 2 to 3 objectives with 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- Contributions and themes to be addressed: 250 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
Educational Innovation Experience
Networking Table Modality
This format allows high interaction between the participants organized into informal groups that share similar interests about a subject related to the themes of the Conference. Networking tables allow the discussion of new ideas, concepts, strategies, procedures, and/or research, as well as the creation of new alliances with specific purposes. Proposals for network tables must include:
- Name of the networking table
- Name and contact details of the networking table coordinator
- Summary of the networking table: 250 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- Abstract: 250 words max, 10pts Arial font, 1.5 line spacing, and in English and Spanish
- Keywords: 4 words max in English and Spanish
- Objectives: From 2 to 3 objectives with 200 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
- Interaction format to be used to achieve the objectives of the networking table: 200 words max
- The target audience for the networking table
- Table contributions (expected impact or benefit): 250 words max, 10pts Arial font, and 1.5 line spacing
