Sara Ladrón de Guevara

    Rector, Universidad Veracruzana

    Sara Ladrón de Guevara is Rector of the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) since September 2013.  She served as Academy Secretary of the UV from September 1997 to August 2001 and she was a member of the Consejo de Arqueología del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) as substitute for the President from 1996 to 2005. She is an external evaluator of INAH since 1996 and she is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, Nivel II since 1993. She has participated in archaeological projects nationally and internationally, also she has scientific production in various articles and books, and obtained the recognition ofPerfil Deseable Promep.

    Sara holds a Master´s Degree in Art History and Archeology from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. She studied the Doctorate in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
