Joseph E. Aoun es l\u00edder de la universidad m\u00e1s reconocida a nivel mundial por su modelo de aprendizaje experiencial y por ser la s\u00e9ptima en el ranking 2016 de las \u201cUniversidades m\u00e1s Innovadoras\u201d en Estados Unidos de acuerdo con U.S. News & World Report. Aoun ha globalizado el emblem\u00e1tico co-op Program de Northeastern University, con estudiantes que se encuentran trabajando, estudiando e investigando en m\u00e1s de 100 pa\u00edses en siete continentes.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Aoun ha enfocado estrat\u00e9gicamente la investigaci\u00f3n que realiza la universidad con tres imperativos globales: salud, seguridad y sostenibilidad. Previo a Northeastern University, Aoun fue Decano del Colegio de Letras, Artes y Ciencias de la Universidad de Southern California. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Joseph E. Aoun es Doctor en Ling\u00fc\u00edstica y Filosof\u00eda del Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ha publicado siete libros y escrito m\u00e1s de 40 art\u00edculos. Fue nombrado como Chevalier dans l\u2019Ordre des Palmes Academiques (Knight of the Order of the Academic Palms) por el gobierno franc\u00e9s, y recibi\u00f3 el Robert A. Muh Award del MIT\u2019s School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, adem\u00e1s es miembro del American Academy of Arts and Sciences, miembro del American Association for the Advancement of Science y Ex Presidente del American Council on Education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
