Rector, Universitat Jaume I

Professor of English Philology in the Department of English Studies of the Universitat Jaume I and director of the research group “Applied Linguistics to the Teaching of the English Language” (LAELA). His main lines of research focus on the acquisition of the English language as a second / third language, publishing numerous research articles on these topics, in national and international journals. At the university management level, she has been Vice Dean of English Philology (1999-2001), Vice Chancellor for Academic Planning and Students (2001-2006) and Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation (2006-2010).

In 2018, she was elected rector of the Jaume I University with a record participation, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the history of this university.
